Springfield students score above national and state averages on ACT
June 30, 2002

Springfield Public School students scored above the national and state averages on the ACT exam for the 2000-2001 school year. Springfield students scored a composite score of 22.3 compared to the national composite of 21 and the Missouri composite of 21.4.

The district’s graduating class of 2001 earned a record $7.3 million in scholarships for further education.
