Board approves boundary/facilities usage review
Nov. 18, 2008
The Springfield school board accepted the Boundary and Facility Usage Review Final Report at its Nov. 18 meeting and approved implementation in 2009-2010 of four alternates that have little or no cost. The alternates will establish a boundary for the new southwest elementary school, revise boundaries for McBride and Gray elementary schools to reduce crowding, allow Study Middle School and Robberson Elementary School to investigate "choice" options and maintain Wilson's Creek Intermediate School as a 5th-6th center.
Other alternates will be prioritized and considered during annual budget discussions or as fiscal resources allow.
