Bowerman History
Bowerman Elementary is named after Milton Bowerman. He lived from 1837 until 1916. Bowerman was important to Springfield because he served as the Presiding Judge in the Greene County Court and made a difference in our schools by being the President, Secretary and a member of the Springfield R-12 Board of Education.
