Springfield Public Schools is excited to host the Support SPS Run & Community Fair on Saturday, June 12, at JFK Stadium on the Parkview High School campus. The morning will start with a 5K race which band will be followed by a community fair featuring nearly 100 businesses and non-profits handing out information, providing resources, and distributing giveaways. Jump Mania will bring "jumpers," local restaurants will be passing out free food, the Tooth Truck will be on site, and the local police and fire departments will bring vehicles to tour. Local TV celebrities Joe & Christine Daues will host the event, which will feature: Nick, Ruell & Ned the Band; student entertainment highlighting Supercharge, One Voice, and United We Stand; a raffle to win a trip to Orlando, including tickets to Disney World; and much more! Admission is free to all attendees of the community fair and pricing for the 5K run/walk is listed below. Let's bring our community together and show support for OUR SPS!

5k Run/Walk

Begins at 8:30 a.m.

Prices are $10 for ages 17 and under, pre-race registration is $15 for adults, and race day registration for adults is $20. Pre-registration must be received by noon Friday, June 11, or postmarked by Wednesday, June 9. The race will start at JFK Stadium on the Parkview High School campus at 8:30 a.m. Race day registration and check-in will be from 7:15-8 a.m. on June 12. T-shirts will be provided to all race participants and prizes will be awarded to age-group and overall winners. For 5K participants, a pancake breakfast will follow the race courtesy of Parkview Christian Church! To view the official 5K route click here.
