Central High School Celebrated International Day
Central High School celebrated the diversity of its students and staff with a special flag ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 7, in the student commons. International students posed for group pictures with their flags during this event.
The event ties in with the school’s participation in the International Baccalaureate Program (IB). IB is geared, in part, toward creating greater understanding of people from throughout the world.
Flags representing the 31 countries and over 70 students and staff members will be hung from the mezzanine.
