ECSE Speech/Language Pathologist: Debbie Casey
I have worked in the Early Childhood Special Education program as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the past 17 years. Nothing is more exciting than seeing a child begin to communicate their wants and needs, improve their speech so that others understand them, and giggle while learning new language concepts. I am also the mother of two beautiful adult girls, a wife of 30 years and a grandma to our daughter's Corgi puppy, Cooper. My husband, Tim has taught over 30 years at Drury University in the Science Department. Our oldest daughter, Jessica, lives in Austin, Texas, and is a Special Education teacher in a middle school. Our youngest daughter, Jacqueline, is a nurse and is married to Luke and they live in Johnstown, Colorado. Besides my family, my passion is running. This summer I will be training for my first marathon in San Antonio, Texas. I am looking forward to being a part of David Harrison Elementary.
