Hi! My name is Lindsey Heaston and I am so excited about teaching Kindergarten at Harrison Elementary! I graduated from Evangel University with my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am certified to teach birth-6th grade. I was able to complete my student teaching and teaching practicums in the Springfield School District and love being a part of this community. I have a passion for teaching and absolutely love teaching Kindergarten! It is so excited to see all of the growth that takes place with each student throughout the year. I expect such great things out of all my students this year! I believe that every student has the ability to learn and succeed at school!

I spent most of my growing up years in Tulsa, Oklahoma and still like to visit frequently. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee. I also have a 4 year old nephew who is the joy of my life. I enjoy hanging out with him and his new puppy, Whale, in my spare time.

I feel so honored to be teaching at Harrison Elementary. I am eager to work with such a great staff and get to know all of the awesome students in our building.
