CCI-Continous Classroom Improvement
Plan (Monday):
We start every cycle by discussing the plan for the week. The plan for each week is a goal that aligns with our Strategic Goal and is selected by Mrs. Magers.
Do (Monday-Thursday):
After students hear and discuss our weekly goal, we talk about what strategies we can "do" to help us meet our weekly goal. Students not only decide "what" to do but they also decide "how" and why we will use each strategy. Each day we will do a strategy from our board to practice.
Study (Friday):
We look at our graph and discuss the progress we made and if we met our goal for that week. We make a plus delta chart which shows the strategies that helped us learn and the strategies that did not work for us.
Act (Friday):
We talk about what we would like to do next week based on the students feedback.
Strategic Learning Goal:
By the end of the year 100% of Mrs. Magers Kindergartners will be
First place (advanced) or Second place (proficient) in math as
measured by the Emerging Mathematics Survey (EMS). Mrs. Magers
will check what we know four times during the year.
