My name is Katie Frey and I have been teaching since 1999. My experience ranges from 1st to 6th grade. I graduated from Missouri State University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Completing my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Missouri in August of 2009 was one of my biggest career accomplishments.
My wonderful husband, my two energetic children and I all live in Republic where I grew up. As a family we love spending our time at the park playing, riding bikes, and just hanging out together. When not at school, I love photography, reading, playing gold and working in my yard.
I love being able to build a classroom community that focuses on the students and their learning! Teaching is something I love to do and know that becoming a mom to my two little ones has only made my teaching better. I want for my school children the same as I want for my own children...only the best! I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be part of your child's school day!
