Reading - Students will make ask questions to better understand a text. Students will identify and describe elements of fiction, including plot, setting, and characters.

Writing - Students will use the writing process to draft, revise, edit, and publish persuasive and narrative writing

Math - Students will explore number patterns and develop readiness for multiplication and division. They will describe patterns result from skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s; build arithmetic skills for adding 1- and 2- digit numbers; and make frequency tables, bar graphs, and line plots.

Science - Students will investigate the relationship of the sun and earth during the day/night cycle; investigate the planets in our solar system..
