Our Class Mission Statement:Students created this mission statement by answering why we exist, what we hope to become, and how we will accomplish this goal.

*Ms. Smith’s first grade class exists to be good at math, be scientists, become better readers and writers, and to get along. We will do this by working hard and being respectful so we are ready for second grade!

Class Norms: These were created by students on the first day of school.

-Be nice and respectful to people and supplies.
-Use the “Husky Hush.”
-Turn on your listening ears and your walking feet.
-Raise your hand and wait to be called on before talking.
