The CCI Cycle
Plan: Miss Pollock will select a goal for the week based upon student needs and alignment to Major Instructional Goals.
Do: Students will decide which strategies they want to use to best help them learn their weekly goal. These strategies might include cooperative learning structures, using manipulatives, or using our SmartBoard and other technology. We will use these strategies throughout the week.
Study: Students will complete a quick-check to assess their learning of the weekly goal. We will graph how many students in our class were able to perform this goal. We will fill out a class "Plus/Delta," discussing which strategies worked for us during the week and what we could change to help us learn better. Students also fill out a personal "Plus/Delta" to help them think about their own learning.
Act: Based on our results from the study portion, we will discuss what we can do the following week to help us meet our next goal.
