1st Annual Support SPS Run & Community Fair

TheOffice ofCommunity Development is proud to announce it will be hosting the first annual Support SPS Run & Community Fair. This is an exciting new adventure and we'd like to inviteyourdepartment to be a part of it.

On Saturday, June 12th at JFK Stadium on the Parkview High School campus, the morning will start with a 5K run/walk at 8:30am. This will promote our health and wellness policy to students, staff, and community patrons. From 10am-2pm we are hosting the community fair portion of the event. Yourdepartment is invited to host a booth where you can distribute information, resources, and give-aways to attendees.

In addition to the vendors, the event will feature:Nick Ruell & Ned the Band, student entertainment,a raffle prize including tickets to Disney

World, and much more!Local TV celebrities, Joe & Christine Daues, will be our hosts for the day. This event will be promoted both internally and externally through manycommunication mediums.We are expecting a big crowd and a lot of media attention!

Just indicate on the form which department you are from and submit it back to Josey McPhail in Community Development. The registration deadline is May 14th, but we have limited space so turn in the requested materials ASAP to reserve your spot.Please consider getting involved asthis will be a great way to providemany district resources in one location!Proceeds will go to support Partners In Education, CHOICE programs, and district communication efforts.
