NED brings out the champion in students

February 15, 2012

The NED Show will be visiting 13 Springfield schools Feb. 21-24.  This high energy, 45-minute motivational assembly featuring the character NED utilizes a multi-sensory learning model to motivate, encourage and inspire students to become champions at school and in life.

Presented through storytelling, humor, visuals and audience participation, The NED Show enforces the philosophy to Never give up, Encourage others and Do you best.

"This positive message could not have come at a better time. This is what our children need to hear on a daily basis and throughout life." said Dawn Thompson, president of Springfield Council of PTAs.

This program enhances the districts efforts to increase student engagement, enrich instructional time and set high expectations for students.  Free grade-level curriculum material is provided to use after the performance. In addition, no cost resources are available on their website to support teachers who wish to integrate these lessons into their classrooms.

The NED Show will perform at Bowerman, Boyd, Disney, Fremont, Gray, Hickory Hills, McGregor, Portland, Sequiota, Sherwood, Sunshine and Wilder elementary schools and at Pipkin Middle School.
