Mrs. Walkerscientist

Hello, I am starting my fifth year here at Pershing. I love science and math. I teach five sections of 8th grade science and one 7th grade math class.

I am also the Cheerleading coach and Pep club sponsor.

I am a graduate from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin MO. I lived in the dorms and was a Resident Assistant while attending college. I also taught the orientation classes to freshman during the year and the summer. I have always been a really outgoing and silly person who really enjoys a good joke from time to time (I mean all the time). I have always enjoyed being in a leadership position and I love being creative.

I currently live in Seymour MO with my family. I have been married to my husband Matt for four years now and I have a wonderful three and a half year old boy, named Zion Lee Walker and a 6 month old daughter Zoie Renee Walker.

If you have any questions please send me an e-mail (Mrs. Amanda Walker's E-mail), or call me at 523-2512.

Homework:

There is rarely homework in my class, because I give them time to get it done for the most part. The only time they will have homework will be if they didn't complete their assignment in class or we have a project.

Reminder:

I encourage all of my students to get a minimum of 2 hours of study and review time before the test. They will need to review notes, handouts and worksheets as well as study the objectives listed on the first page of each section. If any students have any questions over the material they can see me before school, during my conference period or after school.

GOOD LUCK!!!
