Pershing Mission Statement
The mission of Pershing School is to improve student achievement by using instructional strategies that promote critical thinking, cooperation, and personal awareness. Our challenge is "self-development through guided self-improvement".
We believe the middle school concept is the appropriate educational response to the needs and characteristics of
young people during the transition from childhood to full adolescence. We believe the academic intellectual and developmental needs of middle school students are affected greatly by their physical, social, and emotional needs which also must be addressed directly in the school program.
