School Profile:
- Parkview has a dedicated and caring staff that serves 1,569 students. We are teachers, counselors, advisors, activity sponsors and coaches.
- Fifty-four percent of Parkview’s certified staff has completed a master’s degree or higher or is working toward those degrees.
- Parkview focuses on academics. Staff members stress the importance of high academic standards and encourage students to take rigorous coursework to prepare them for the future.
- Parkview students are offered dual credit and advanced placement programs to earn college and university credits before they graduate high school. We offer more than 100 hours of university credit through Missouri State University, Drury University and Ozarks Technical Community College.
- Parkview prides itself in outstanding fine arts programs, including speech and debate, music, visual arts and theater.
- A safety net is in place for at-risk students. Staff has been trained to identify students who need additional help and several resources are in place to provide support including a social worker and a site-based clinician.
- Parkview staff strives to exhibit and encourage respect and positive attitudes.
