Hello, I'm Mrs. Leasha Bear.  It's a privilege to teach vocal music (K-5) at Robberson Elementary.  It's neat to see how the students grow and progress from year to year.  I grew up in Fair Grove, Mo.  I received my Bachelor's degree from Evangel University and my Master's degree from MSU.  I've been married to my husband for 27 years and we have a son & a daughter.  I've taught pre-school thru 8th grade and also supervised student teachers for MSU.  This is my 25th year to teach in Springfield, both as a full-time and part-time employee.

My name is Erin Hughes. I was born in Portland, Oregon. At the age of 7 my family and I went to Japan as missionaries where I lived for 11 years . I received my undergraduate degree at Evangel University and I am working on my Art Masters degree at Drury University. This is my third year to teach in the Springfield district. Before that I taught for two years in Kentucky. I enjoy working with Robberson Elementary and their amazing artists!

Robberson P. E. goes Local - National - International!  The Robberson students enjoyed an eventful year that included Speed cups, soccer, jump ropes and lots more!

The Robberson P. E. classes have gone on three different levels with Coach Jim Twibell, who has coached basketball and swimming on the international level - representing the USA in Australia!

Local: Robberson had Tennis Coaches Zack Cribb and Tim Carner teach the basics of tennis including skills and games on all levels for K - 5th grades. Coach susan Provance from Parkview HS taught basketball with demonstrations from Coach Cheryl Burnett, formerly from Missouri State University.

National: Coach Cheryl Burnett taught basketball skills and drills to 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students.  Coach Burnett has coached both at Missouri State University and Michigan State University.  She has also been to the NCAA Final Four Championships twice.  She was a great inspiration to Robberson students!

International: Coach Lori Endicott Vandersnick, an olympic Bronze Medal winner and member of two USA Olympic teams, taught skills and drills to 4th and 5th graders.
