The Mission of the Staff Development Department is to increase student performance through high quality professional learning for certificated staff.

Vision

An exemplary staff development department:

  1. Consistently demonstrates a link between the services provided and teacher/student performance.
  2. Provides exceptional customer service every day.
  3. Is dedicated to learning about "the work" and improving individuals and collective skills.
  4. Practices a high level of professionalism within and beyond the department.
  5. Has well-defines and prioritized tasks for personnel, but is committed to accomplishing the mission through an understanding that is "our" work.
