We are happy to announce the continuation of an innovative program being offered at our school. CAMP (Communication Arts Media Program) Sunshine will focus on language, lliterature, and communications.  A solid foundation in the English llanguage will be established with an emphasis on reading, writing, oral and visual communication. 

Children at Sunshine elementary have many opportunities to experience integration of the Fine Arts in their classroms.  Classroom lessons are enhanced with music, art, drama, and movement to make lessons engaging for students.  There are also many opportunities for students to participate and enjoy extra-curricular activities to promote their communication skills.  Sunshine students have the opportuniy to be involved in the following activities:

• Reader's Thyeater presentations
• Attending plays
• Attending musical performances
• Assemblies featuring both drama and musical performances
• Drama Club
• Choir
• Storytelling presentations

Our goal is to enhance student achievement in Communication Arts using these engaging and literature-rich activities!
