Springfield Public Schools Transportation

The Springfield Public Schools Transportation Department includes 142 drivers, 57 bus attendants, seven nurses, four lead trainers, one shop supervisor, five mechanics, four secretaries and one computer technicians.
The Transportation Center is located on ten acres at 1600 East Chestnut Expressway. It includes the main offices, a six bay garage, employee parking, school bus parking and fuel storage. There is a Satellite Center located at Carver Middle School, 3325 West Battlefield. Twenty five buses are kept there in addition to a small office building and fuel storage.
VersaTrans e-Link will assist you in determining the bus stop location, and pickup and drop off times for your child. (Currently for internal use only - will be made public very soon!)
