Ms. Rogers' 1st Grade Class
My name is Emily Rogers and I am originally from the Chicago land area. During my free time I enjoy camping, canoeing, traveling, dancing, and reading. I recently graduated from Drury University and plan to complete a master's degree in Counseling. Children have always been a big part of my life and I look forward to impacting the lives of each of my students.
Our first grade students are "The Builders" and we will use the tools needed to strengthen the relationships in our classroom, build knowledge, and a foundation to ensure our success as lifelong learners.
"The Builders" have the right to be heard within our community and will be included on many of the decisions that will be made in our class. At the beginning of each week, we will have a class meeting to discuss our expectations for the week and how we will achieve these together.
